A participation record says that a voter took part and may state the voting method. The secret ballot remains secret. No voter file discloses a candidate choice, a response to a ballot measure, or any other marked-ballot decision.
Confidential Yuba City Voter Records
California Elections Code section 2194 and Government Code section 7924.000 define the voter file's confidential boundaries. Driver license or state ID numbers, the last four Social Security digits, unique voter identifiers, signatures, and digitized signatures are excluded. Request California Voter Registration Data
California permits voter-file access only for election, scholarly, journalistic, political, or governmental purposes. A requester must identify the intended use and the person or organization that will benefit. Private, personal, and commercial purposes are not allowed.
